Global Facilities Director

Location: Onsite in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States

Salary: $138,064–$230,108 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead the Building Maintenance & Repair Organization and Workplace Services function across approximately 1M square feet of owned and leased facilities.
• Manage and develop a team of 18 employees while partnering with business and regional leaders on safe, standardized, and scalable operations.
• Oversee facilities and administrative services, workplace amenities, vendors, and coordination with safety, security, and legal functions.
• Set global facilities and real estate priorities covering leases, capital improvements, construction, space planning, utilities, infrastructure, and sustainability.
• Manage operating budgets of $14M–$18M and annual capital budgets of up to $10M, including project planning, compliance, quality, safety, security, and environmental stewardship.
• Lead long-term resource planning for utilities, waste reduction, smart building technologies, and cost-saving sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of facilities management experience in a complex environment.
• Proven people leadership, team development, budget management, and cross-functional matrix leadership experience.
• Knowledge of building trades, including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Strong experience with MRO, BAS, CMMS/EAM, and other building management systems.
• Ability to negotiate and manage large service and construction contracts; willingness to travel globally 4–6 times per year.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience managing facilities in a large, complex global organization.
• Knowledge of global real estate practices.
