Facilities Manager (Intelligent Access)

Location: Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; onsite. Travel up to 40% is required, including possible weekend and off-shift hours.

Salary: $102,600–$165,375 per year, plus benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage multi-site facilities programs, plans, procedures, preventive maintenance, compliance, and performance metrics.
• Oversee renovations, expansions, infrastructure upgrades, capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Optimize HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and other building systems.
• Manage vendors, contracts, RFP processes, permits, and relationships with local governmental authorities.
• Lead emergency response, risk mitigation, energy management, sustainability, and workplace experience initiatives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing facilities team while communicating with executive leadership and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, facilities management, construction, or property management, or CFM/FMP/CPM certification.
• 8–10 years of relevant building management experience, including large-scale multi-site facilities operations.
• Experience managing properties across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management and operations software, strategic planning, financial management, and building systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, AHJ, ISO, local building, land, and fire safety requirements.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and availability for travel, weekend, and off-shift work.

Nice to have

• CFM, FMP, CPM, or PMP certification.
• OSHA General Industry & Construction 10 and 30, Stationary Engineer, LEED AP, or CEM credentials.
• CMMS, workplace management, or security platform experience.
• Membership in IFMA, NFPA, BOMA, or related professional organizations.
