Director - Real Estate and Facilities

Location: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the Glendale, Wisconsin office; 25% domestic US travel and 10% international travel required.

Salary: $156,000–$201,900 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global real estate strategies, optimizing the property portfolio through expansion, consolidation, occupancy planning, and footprint analysis.
• Lead lease negotiations, acquisitions, property contracts, disposals, and relationships with external real estate providers.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, renovations, construction, upgrades, facility standards, capital plans, and vendor service agreements.
• Establish consistent corporate and site-level protocols for janitorial, security, building systems, landscaping, visitor management, and incident response.
• Manage global travel security, risk assessments, emergency response planning, loss prevention, and facility resilience initiatives.
• Direct the global vehicle fleet strategy, including insurance, liability, vehicle-use policies, regional planning, and dealer negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in corporate real estate, facilities, or property management, preferably in a large global manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, lease negotiation, financial analysis, and property law.
• Expertise in building systems, maintenance principles, and facility compliance standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
