Salary: $138,320–$262,080 per year

What you will do

• Lead campus-wide facilities operations and maintenance functions, including maintenance, utilities, landscape, administration, energy management, and customer service.
• Develop operational strategies, standards, and best practices to improve service delivery, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Direct planning, resource allocation, budgeting, capital projects, and infrastructure initiatives from planning through execution.
• Oversee building, utility, and support infrastructure maintenance while improving safety, reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Tennessee OSHA, DNV, AAALAC, and other applicable requirements, including inspections, documentation, reporting, emergency preparedness, and safety training.
• Lead and develop facilities teams, manage vendors and contracts, and advise institutional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, operations, or facilities management.
• Experience leading multiple facilities functions and managing budgets, resources, capital projects, and operational performance.
• Prior supervisory and people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification.
• APPA Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) certification.
• Other relevant facilities, engineering, or operations certifications.
