TL;DR
Clinical Instructor - Communication Disorders Program (Speech-Language Pathology): Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in speech-language pathology through lectures, seminars, laboratories, assessments, and academic support with an accent on innovative instruction, active learning, and curriculum improvement. Focus on designing courses and assessments, evaluating student learning outcomes, supporting students, and contributing to program development and institutional service.

Location: hirify.global’s Fort Worth campus in Fort Worth, Texas; primarily onsite, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM or as teaching requirements indicate. Teaching may also be assigned at other campus locations or through approved instructional modalities.

What you will do

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
  • Assess student performance, provide feedback, and use learning outcomes to improve teaching and curriculum.
  • Engage students through active learning, critical-thinking activities, discussion, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
  • Provide academic guidance, mentoring, office hours, and assignment feedback to students.
  • Collaborate on course coordination, program development, faculty mentoring, committees, recruitment, and other institutional service.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, speech-language-hearing sciences, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in speech-language pathology.
  • Eligible for Texas licensure as a speech-language pathologist in medical and/or educational settings.
  • Knowledge of the discipline sufficient for undergraduate instruction, along with effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Employment is contingent on credential verification and a criminal history investigation.
