Assistant Professor of Practice, Communication Sciences & Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology)

Texas A&M University-Kingsville's Department of Clinical Health Sciences operates an accredited Communication Sciences & Disorders program.

What you will do

• Supervise and instruct graduate student clinicians in the on-campus clinic.
• Teach courses in the undergraduate and/or graduate Communication Sciences & Disorders program.
• Support possible local community outreach activities.
• Provide service to the university and the speech-language pathology profession.

Requirements

• Texas SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• At least three years of experience after obtaining the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• MS or MA in Communication Sciences & Disorders.
• Official transcripts are required before appointment; international transcripts must be translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history and background investigation is required.
