Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Las Vegas, NV, United States

Salary: $105,322–$131,652 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Create and maintain cloud infrastructure, applications, and services, including architecture diagrams and automation scripts.
• Deploy new applications to the cloud and migrate existing applications to modern cloud services.
• Monitor and optimize cloud systems for high availability, reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, implement, and support monitoring and observability solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, respond to outages, and support incident, problem, and change management.
• Design and document secure cloud, networking, and systems architectures; establish procedures and train IT team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least four years of experience in cloud engineering, software or network engineering, computer and information science, or a related field.
• Advanced experience documenting infrastructure and establishing standards and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure, AWS, or OCI, including cloud strategy, design, architecture, and migration.
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, as well as troubleshooting line-of-business applications.
• Strong verbal, written, executive presentation, collaboration, quality, and process improvement skills.
