Sr. Engineer Cloud

Location: Plano, Texas — based at the hirify.global Dallas Tech Hub, with onsite work required 2 days per week

Annual salary: $114,000–$171,000, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop self-service capabilities and automation that help internal customers deliver business solutions faster.
• Build and evolve cloud platforms and the applications used to manage them.
• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure supporting customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with design, product management, systems architecture, and engineering colleagues on experimental solutions.
• Improve platform operations, reliability, resilience, and customer experience through engineering and agile practices.
• Mentor the team on platform management and reusable engineering patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of building infrastructure within a cloud platform; Azure is preferred, with AWS or Google Cloud experience also relevant.
• 2+ years of scripting or coding experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or comparable languages.
• Experience with infrastructure, build and deployment, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, access control, and Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Azure services, infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform, resilient cloud solutions, and CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity or Azure DevOps.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with C# and agentic software development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Opencode.
• Azure experience, particularly with storage, key vaults, virtual networking, web apps, Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, access management, and automated deployments.
