Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: USA - St Cloud, MN. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

Salary: $92,700.00–$161,850.00 USD, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Implement containerized and serverless compute platforms, including AKS, EKS, Docker, and Azure Functions.
• Develop observability solutions with metrics, logging, and tracing, and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Apply SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, incident response, and on-call operations.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to architecture and governance reviews, and support cloud-native modernization of legacy platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Release Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on software development experience with Python, .NET, or Java, plus PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Azure and AWS services, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with Git, Terraform or CloudFormation, and CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Experience supporting observability platforms and troubleshooting Linux and Windows environments.
