Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/AWS)

Location: St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA; applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the interview process.

Compensation: $92,700–$161,850 USD annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Design, automate, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules and CI/CD pipelines with testing, artifact management, promotion workflows, and deployment automation.
• Develop and support containerized and serverless platforms using AKS, EKS, Docker, and Azure Functions.
• Implement observability through metrics, logging, and tracing, and support incident response and root cause analysis.
• Apply SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, and operational toil reduction.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions while contributing to cloud modernization and architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Release Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong software development experience with Python, .NET, or Java, plus PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, Git, Terraform or CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Experience supporting observability platforms and troubleshooting Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and take ownership across the full software lifecycle.
