Salary: $70,000–$95,000 annual compensation

What you will do

  • Support project management teams moving oil and gas sites through decommissioning, remediation, and regulatory closure.
  • Prepare and manage regulatory reporting deliverables, including Colorado ECMC Form 27 Site Investigation and Remediation Workplans.
  • Lead or support soil and groundwater sampling, subsurface investigations, and other environmental field activities.
  • Oversee drilling subcontractors, maintain boring logs, and support monitoring well design and installation.
  • Manage multiple project tasks, track hours, support scopes and cost proposals, and communicate schedule, budget, and technical issues.
  • Interface with clients, mentor technicians and staff, and follow safety programs and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–7+ years of related environmental experience, including soil and groundwater sampling and drilling oversight.
  • Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification with the required 8-hour refresher.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background, motor vehicle record, and drug screening.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform outdoor field work, lift up to 50 pounds, travel locally, and work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

  • Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license.
  • Groundwater fate and transport modeling experience.
  • Familiarity with Colorado ECMC regulations and experience with Forms 19 and 27.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or similar tools.
