TL;DR

What you will do

  • Participate in environmental assessments, site inspections, remediation projects, and contractor oversight.
  • Support site assessment, investigation, remedial strategy development, and regulatory closure activities.
  • Manage assigned field and office project tasks while supporting scope and budget delivery.
  • Interpret hydrogeological and chemical data.
  • Prepare technical correspondence, proposals, reports, work plans, specifications, cost estimates, and project budgets.
  • Travel on short- and long-term regional and statewide assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or geology.
  • Two to five years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in due diligence and Phase I/Phase II ESAs, soil or groundwater remediation, environmental compliance, treatment process design, or on-site remediation technologies.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, TRRP, RCRA, NPDES/TPDES, CERCLA, and Texas regulatory agencies including TCEQ, RRC, and TxDOT.
  • Strong writing, communication, computer, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Willingness to manage project tasks and subcontractors; Microsoft Office knowledge is required.

Nice to have

  • EIT or GIT certification.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER health and safety training certificate.
