What you will do

  • Supervise daily soldermask production activities in line with safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and schedule requirements.
  • Assign work, monitor performance, coach production employees, and support employee development.
  • Lead shift huddles and work-area meetings covering priorities, expectations, and safety.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Scheduling, and Operations leadership to execute manufacturing plans.
  • Manage staffing coverage, time and attendance, training coordination, and performance processes.
  • Identify operational issues, implement corrective actions, support Lean improvement initiatives, and communicate production metrics.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership or lead-hand experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • At least 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience, or 5 years with a relevant associate degree.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, SPC, and standardized work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
  • Due to Controlled Goods Program requirements, applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Green Belt certification.
