Production Technician

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; on-site. The role requires availability for morning and evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Salary: CAD 55,000–75,000 per year.

What you will do

• Operate production equipment according to established Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Process, collect, package, and document product batches accurately and on time.
• Prepare procedures, protocols, and reports for new product batches.
• Identify and implement equipment or process changes that improve quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain production-floor cleanliness, follow environmental and health-and-safety requirements, report hazards, and support ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in science or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated facilities.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, maintain accurate records, and work with a strong quality and regulatory mindset.
• Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, able to multitask, meet tight timelines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 8 kg independently and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Cleanroom experience.
• Experience operating vacuum equipment.
