Commercial Lines Sales Executive (Insurance)

Location: Baltimore, MD, with a primary office at 300 E. Lombard Street, Baltimore, Maryland. The position title also references Pittsburgh, PA.

Salary: $43,888 per year, plus potential overtime, incentive, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Sell new commercial insurance business and generate new agency accounts.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospects from multiple sources.
• Cross-sell insurance solutions within the existing book of business.
• Partner with customer service representatives to renew accounts and achieve retention goals.
• Collaborate with bank partners to build relationships and identify financial service solutions.
• Maintain sales knowledge, complete continuing education, and comply with risk management and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Applicable industry insurance licenses.
• Strong sales, communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Excellent project management skills and proficiency with job-related computer software.
• Basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills, plus intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
