Manager, Body Weld Maintenance

Location: Huntsville, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Hiring range salary: $120,031.64–$153,650.65 annual salary, plus a yearly discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead long-term maintenance reliability and equipment-efficiency strategy for the Body Weld production area.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs using technology and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
• Plan and execute body weld equipment projects, capital improvements, and process improvements.
• Lead reliability Kaizen activities, major-breakdown root-cause analysis, and countermeasure implementation.
• Standardize maintenance plans, contingency plans, best practices, and cost-reduction activities.
• Coach and mentor team members while partnering with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably Body Weld, or demonstrated internal experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, welding, and robotic systems.
• Experience with budget planning or budget management.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Body Weld operations, including Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs, Kawasaki, Nachi, and Yaskawa robotics, and welding equipment.
• Working knowledge of Body Weld production processes.
