Skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Troy, Missouri, United States. On-site manufacturing role with availability for any shift, overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.

Salary: $35.90–$47.95 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour shift premium for PM and weekend shifts.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment improvements.
• Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives.
• Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, and related electronic equipment.
• Fabricate and machine metal, plastic, and wood components for jigs, fixtures, equipment repairs, work orders, and machine modifications.
• Document completed maintenance and repair work using written or electronic methods.
• Support manufacturing safety, quality, cost, productivity, and continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Automation or a related field, or at least three years of hands-on industrial equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, including industrial systems and high-voltage systems of 480V or higher.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motion and motor control, sensors, photo eyes, relays, and power supplies.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment repair skills.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without requiring current or future hirify.global immigration support or visa sponsorship.
• Must be available for any shift, overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.

Nice to have

• Current or expired state Journeyman’s Electrical License.
• Experience working with or repairing robotics.
• Relevant military hands-on experience involving electrical principles and equipment maintenance.
