Location: Huntsville, United States; onsite role

Hiring range: $84,581.12–$108,270.98 annual salary, plus a yearly discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide plant-wide and production-area safety support, including floor activities, team member engagement, coaching, and mentoring.
• Lead safety programs, projects, training, promotions, and continuous-improvement initiatives across shops and departments.
• Maintain OSHA compliance, execute the safety management system, audit programs such as HAZCOM, and manage OSHA recordkeeping.
• Support and lead incident investigations, identify safety risks, and develop sustainable action plans.
• Coordinate ergonomics programs, including risk assessments, physical demand assessments, training, evaluations, and countermeasures.
• Track safety KPIs and trends, complete compliance and corporate reporting, and coordinate annual safety training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA safety requirements.
• Familiarity with safety audits, policy implementation, training, investigations, reporting, database management, and risk assessment.
• Project management skills, including prioritization, milestone management, consensus building, and status reporting.
• Availability to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and required domestic or international travel.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 safety management systems.
• CSP, PE, or another relevant professional certification.
• Experience with safety promotion, OSHA 10/OSHA 30 training, Lean manufacturing, Toyota Production System, manufacturing safety, or occupational safety.
