Senior Manager Corporate Safety (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide safety programs across business functions and global locations.
• Own the hirify.global Safety Index, enterprise safety metrics, leading indicators, and the GOS Safety Pillar.
• Oversee regulatory compliance programs, including training, inspections, reporting, recordkeeping, hazard communication, and ETQ systems.
• Lead risk-based audits, field validations, worksite analyses, and SIF prevention programs covering LOTO, PIT, electrical safe work, and hoist, crane, and rigging activities.
• Oversee investigations of injuries, near misses, and property damage, ensuring root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop EHS teams while managing safety budgets, resources, and enterprise safety reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 7 years of progressive occupational safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, safety audits, incident investigations, hazard controls, and enterprise safety programs.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or an EHS-related field.
• CSP, CIH, or PE certification.
• At least 5 years of progressive Safety/EHS leadership experience in a multi-site role with direct reports.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP and ISO 45001.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
