Maintenance Planner

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite manufacturing and office environment

Base pay: $31.05–$36.28 per hour

What you will do

• Manage contractors, facility projects, construction and renovation work, installation bids, and contractual services.
• Develop equipment data-entry rules, preventive-maintenance schedules, documentation, and critical spare-parts inventories in the EAM maintenance management system.
• Pull and kit parts for preventive-maintenance work while coordinating with the tool crib attendant.
• Analyze asset finances, work-order history, and spending to recommend equipment replacement or rebuilding.
• Lead facility reliability, maintainability, equipment-improvement, and availability initiatives.
• Implement predictive-maintenance technologies, procedures, department metrics, and budget-management support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance technician experience working on equipment.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and architectural and engineering documents.
• Proficiency with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance repair work, plus building management systems.
• Strong project management, organization, communication, prioritization, decision-making, and deadline-management skills.
• Knowledge of contracts, professional services agreements, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Forklift and reach-truck experience.
• Knowledge of equipment reliability practices and procedures.
