Maintenance Specialist

What you will do

• Maintain CNC machinery, welding equipment, industrial manufacturing equipment, and robotic systems.
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair machines, robots, and factory infrastructure.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Repair PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, sensors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical automation components.
• Prioritize maintenance tickets, minimize downtime, and maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and gantry cranes as needed during repairs.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance of CNC machines, robotics, and welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in advanced manufacturing.
• Ability to diagnose and distinguish mechanical, software, and controls-related issues.
• Clear communication and ability to coordinate with vendors, engineers, and operations.
• Ability to work off-shift or on-call during critical installations.
• Must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience installing and commissioning CNC machines, industrial robots, and automated production cells in live production or R&D environments.
• Facilities experience with high- and low-voltage electrical systems, HVAC, schematics, drives, servos, VFDs, coolant systems, and chip systems.
• Experience with maintenance work-order systems, parts management, preventive plans, and disciplined documentation.
