Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift

Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Pay range: $21–$29.12 per hour

What you will do

• Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned maintenance work.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment, components, parts, and production machinery.
• Operate and safely maintain cranes, hoists, forklifts, tow motors, tractors, and other facility vehicles.
• Complete preventive maintenance on production equipment and report repair status to supervisors.
• Enter maintenance data, communicate with personnel by radio, assist with lifting, and train new employees.

Requirements

• At least three years of applicable maintenance experience or an evaluated equivalent.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and working around dust, temperature extremes, and loud noise.
• Availability for routine shift hours, with infrequent overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, or technical equipment.
• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or an equivalent degree.
• Non-licensed maintenance electrical license.
• Experience maintaining lasers, plasma cutting machines, press brakes, dust collection systems, HVAC units, blast booths, or paint booths; computer and Microsoft Office skills.
