Maintenance Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: McKinney - Encore, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Starting pay: $31/hour

Develops and manufactures cable, fiber-optic, and connectivity systems for energy, telecommunications, infrastructure, and digital applications.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, SOPs, and planned maintenance jobs.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance activities to improve labor utilization and reduce equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability teams to standardize practices and identify process improvements.
• Review equipment manuals, drawings, and technical specifications to develop accurate maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate parts kitting and conduct weekly maintenance tool room audits.
• Monitor maintenance planning metrics and recommend improvements that reduce costs and improve equipment performance.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• At least 2 years of recent experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and/or Smartsheet.
• Experience with CMMS is preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Associate degree in a technical field, 4+ years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent education and experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience using HTML.
• Ability to work independently and drive continuous process improvements with minimal supervision.
