Strategic Business Planning Manager (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid office environment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Denver, Cedar Rapids, Philadelphia, or Baltimore; moderate travel of 10–25% is required.

Salary: $104,000–$125,000 annually.

What you will do

• Define and establish strategic planning processes, priorities, capabilities, and success measures.
• Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps, dashboards, and initiative tracking mechanisms.
• Manage the timing of inputs and outputs that support strategic project prioritization.
• Identify organizational integrations and coordinate with planning contacts and the PMO.
• Build relationships with supported business groups and project teams while resolving conflicts involving priorities, resources, goals, and initiatives.
• Create and deliver strategic presentations and storyboards for different audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of strategic planning experience in a similar environment or in a planning or consulting role.
• Ability to communicate across all organizational levels and guide strategic planning and execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools and project lifecycles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Insurance or financial services experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology.
