Senior Project Manager (P&C Insurance)

Salary: $119,000–$149,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage and deliver strategic and high-priority projects across underwriting, technology and AI, operations, claims, finance, actuarial, and corporate development.
• Develop project plans, coordinate resources, track progress, and ensure delivery against timelines, scope, and business objectives.
• Support business case development by gathering requirements, conducting analysis, and preparing recommendations.
• Use data, metrics, and operational insights to improve processes, systems, and operating models.
• Prepare status reports, risk and issue logs, timelines, and executive-ready presentations.
• Track benefits, manage risks and dependencies, and collaborate with sponsors, business owners, senior leaders, and external partners.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading medium- to large-scale projects or workstreams in P&C insurance, financial services, or a similarly complex, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and milestones while meeting commitments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

• Commercial P&C insurance or reinsurance knowledge.
• Experience working in a global organization.
• Familiarity with project management tools and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications such as PMP or Agile/Scrum.
