Manager Retail Markets (Health Insurance)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the alignment and integration of Individual and Family Markets regulatory filing activities.
• Oversee Qualified Health Plan filing processes related to the Affordable Care Act and healthcare reform.
• Coordinate processes affecting multiple functional areas within Individual and Family Markets.
• Prioritize activities and track progress against established goals.
• Lead, manage, and mentor staff while collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or consulting.
• Experience with strategic planning, strategy development, project management, portfolio management, or analytics and research.
• Experience with retail markets in the health insurance industry.
• Management experience leading and mentoring staff.
• Strong communication, organization, facilitation, analysis, implementation, and project/process integration skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Eight or more years of healthcare industry experience.
• Knowledge of the Affordable Care Act.
• Experience serving as a lead subject-matter expert in large programs.
