What you will do

• Perform structural calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures and foundations under the direction of a lead engineer.
• Support the planning and design of substation projects across initial planning, design, and construction phases.
• Use engineering software to design substation structures and foundations.
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, drawing packages, and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate with design, drafting, construction, commissioning, and allied engineering disciplines.
• Provide engineering input, interpret standards, and support project safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 0–2 years of professional experience, predominantly in the power delivery sector.
• Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Experience or familiarity with L-Pile, RISA 3-D, RISA Foundation, Matt 3-D, SAP2000, STAAD, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Engineer-in-Training registration is preferred; successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is strongly desired.
