What you will do

• Design structural systems for technology, commercial, education, healthcare, water/wastewater, municipal, industrial, power, and federal facilities.
• Develop construction drawings, specifications, engineering calculations, and related structural documents.
• Coordinate structural design work with multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction administration.
• Review structural documents, shop drawings, addenda, requests for information, change proposals, and change orders.
• Coordinate design reviews and meetings with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Manage structural workloads and deliver project documents on schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of structural engineering experience, including building-related structural design and detailing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location, such as a PE or P.Eng. license.
• Experience with AutoCAD and structural analysis or design tools such as RISA, STAAD, SAP, TEDDS, RAM, ETABS, or SAFE.
• Leadership, coordination, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
