Sr Sales Compensation Analyst

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $85,000–$128,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Analyze compensation results, reports, source documents, and payout calculations.
• Create audit points and controls to improve compensation accuracy and maintain document integrity.
• Act as a liaison between Sales Compensation and Information Systems teams on reporting and tracking requirements.
• Partner with Sales Leaders to solve problems, identify documentation gaps, and develop repeatable SOPs.
• Collaborate with analysts and sales programmers on system documentation, flow charts, pay components, and compensation calculations.
• Lead ad-hoc projects to explain compensation calculations and source documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of analyst experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, or Finance.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, and exceptions and drive improvements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data organization.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced SQL and/or Power BI skills are preferred.
