Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Lake Zurich, Illinois, United States; onsite three days per week with remote work on the remaining days. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $88,000–$99,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus with a 6% target.

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and quarterly forecasting for cost centers and revenue.
• Analyze and reconcile monthly actuals against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results for North America.
• Collect, validate, and report weekly and monthly sales data across business functions and product lines.
• Develop reporting automation, data integrations, simulations, and visualization dashboards using Power BI and related tools.
• Manage relationships with department managers and communicate financial results, observations, and recommendations.
• Support month-end close, cost-benefit analyses, financial data maintenance, coaching, and ad hoc finance projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and Macros.
• Experience with financial analysis using SQL, R, Python, statistical programming languages, and BI tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP and TM1 Cognos experience is preferred.
• Effective spoken and written English is required for working in a heavily regulated environment.

Nice to have

• MBA, master’s degree in data science, or CPA certification.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
