Senior Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce)

Location: Hybrid office environment, three days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, at a U.S. hub location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; or Denver, Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $84,000–$105,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Document current-state processes in written, graphical, and business process models.
• Facilitate the elicitation and documentation of business and systems requirements.
• Analyze business requests, evaluate solution options, and communicate business and system impacts to IT and Operations stakeholders.
• Support complex information-system projects, enterprise architecture activities, and project deliverables.
• Develop test scenarios and criteria and review or approve test plans and test matrices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, preferably in IT or a business discipline.
• At least five years of experience in business systems analysis.
• Two years of experience managing technical projects in a complex environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of systems methodology, project management, quality assurance, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce administration, including user management, integrations, automations, security settings, and standard-object configuration.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of insurance company operations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools, including workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.
• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201).
• Conceptual knowledge of graphical user interfaces, relational database management systems, and data storage.
