Senior Business Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; in-office work at least four days per week with one day of work-from-home flexibility

Base salary: $81,700–$112,300 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Define business requirements for AnnuityNet changes with Product Management, Technology, vendors, carriers, Compliance, and Operations.
• Support carrier onboarding, product launches, product and disclosure updates, fee-based annuity initiatives, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain requirements, process documentation, issue logs, release readiness materials, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate with Zinnia, internal technology teams, cross-commit systems, and business partners to resolve dependencies, defects, and production issues.
• Plan and coordinate test cases, user acceptance testing, regression testing, production validation, and defect retesting for AnnuityNet and e-Signature releases.
• Monitor risks, open items, launch readiness, platform questions, form tagging, prefill logic, digital signature conditions, audit logs, and service team readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, operations, finance, insurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, platform or product support, operations, technology delivery, or financial services.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, issue analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience with financial services, insurance, annuities, brokerage, technology, operations, or regulated platforms.
• Strong testing coordination skills, including user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect tracking, and release validation.
• Valid United States work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of annuity processing, AnnuityNet, e-Signature workflows, carrier connectivity, forms and disclosures, advisor experience, or production support.
• Experience with digital transaction platforms and vendor-supported systems.
• Understanding of annuity, insurance, brokerage, or regulated financial services processes.
