Specialist, Financial Reporting and Treasury (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, United States; travel may be required domestically and internationally, and work outside regular business hours may be necessary.

Hiring range: $84,581.12–$108,270.98 annual salary, plus a yearly discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.

What you will do

• Support internal and external financial reporting, treasury operations, and GAAP-based financial statements and disclosures.
• Lead the annual credit facility application process in alignment with Toyota Motor Corporation and Mazda Motor Corporation requirements.
• Lead cash management forecasting, monthly cash variance reporting, analysis, and related monthly close activities.
• Manage daily banking transactions and monthly bank statement reporting requirements for TMNA Shared Services.
• Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis to prepare reporting templates, financial analyses, and management materials for plant activities and projects.
• Establish finance and accounting policies, standard work, templates, manuals, and cross-functional knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of corporate and personal finance principles and management practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work onsite in Huntsville and outside typical business hours when required; travel may be necessary.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in manufacturing, cash management, financial reporting, and/or treasury.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft Financials.
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Japanese advisors from Mazda and Toyota.
