Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support month-end close, prepare journal entries, and reconcile fixed assets.
• Prepare standard cost estimates for new and existing SKUs and support NPI cost estimating.
• Manage inventory activities, including obsolete inventory, employee-sale inventory, physical and cycle counts, and year-end inventory across multiple areas.
• Reconcile scrap with Operations daily and report labor, tools and supplies, scrap, and other operational metrics.
• Reconcile petty cash and checking accounts and process expense requests for R&D, NPI, and production areas.
• Support Finance and Operations projects and communicate results to inform business decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting and 1–2 years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and standard cost accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills for analyzing large and detailed operational data sets.
• Experience with or aptitude for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and self-management skills.

Nice to have

• SAP experience with fixed assets, inventory, bills of materials, and routings.
• Physical inventory control experience.
• Bilingual English-Spanish communication skills.
