EPIC Applications Analyst (1-4): Hospital Billing Admin and Hospital Billing Claims (Epic)

Location: Remote - New Hampshire, United States. Work is performed from an appropriate virtual home office, with Eastern Time business hours, on-call rotation, and occasional travel for go-live installations or training.

What you will do

• Implement, develop, configure, and maintain Epic and associated third-party systems.
• Research and complete system builds that improve processes, efficiency, patient safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and colleagues to design workflows and provide application support.
• Apply software development lifecycle and project management principles to system development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Create documentation and test scripts, validate builds, and obtain end-user approval.
• Provide on-call support and support go-live installations or training when required.

Requirements

• Epic Hospital Billing certification in HB Admin or HB Claims is required. Candidates with only one certification may need to obtain the other within the first six months.
• Epic build experience and prior Epic experience are required.
• Current Epic training status in the primary application is required for Analyst levels 2–4; additional training statuses may be required at higher levels.
• A four-year bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Healthcare experience, analytical skills, system analysis, testing, documentation, and business process reengineering experience are required or preferred depending on analyst level.
• Ability to communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, use a computer continuously, and work with stakeholders through virtual meetings.

Hiring process
