What you will do

• Lead the global Customs and Export Control Management System and keep policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with regulatory changes.
• Drive consistent implementation of customs and export control standards across all regions.
• Develop global tools, standardized processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, guide, and support local experts while promoting knowledge exchange and best-practice sharing.
• Track audit and self-assessment corrective actions and support investigations into potential non-compliance cases.
• Establish global KPI tracking, lead optimization initiatives, and support GRC and compliance projects.

Requirements

• University degree in business administration, international trade, logistics, law, or a related field.
• More than five years of professional experience in customs, export control, or foreign trade compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of preferential trade, rules of origin, export control regulations, foreign trade law, Incoterms, and international tax regulations.
• Fluent English is required. German is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Leadership, communication, organization, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to lead projects and investigations.
