Sr. Platform Engineer, AI Infrastructure

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate production infrastructure for internal AI agents, services, and platforms across AWS and/or GCP.
• Build secure, repeatable infrastructure with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable runtime platforms.
• Design CI/CD and GitOps workflows, including automated build, testing, deployment, and environment management.
• Implement identity, access, secrets management, cloud networking, AI gateways, and observability capabilities.
• Partner with AI developers and cross-functional infrastructure, security, identity, and cloud teams to productionize reliable AI services and agent infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, developer infrastructure, or a related field.
• Production experience with AWS and/or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and containerized application deployment.
• Experience building CI/CD or GitOps pipelines and understanding cloud networking, private connectivity, routing, security groups, load balancing, and service communication.
• Experience with identity, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and observability for distributed applications.
• Strong scripting or software engineering skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production systems and collaborate across AI Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Identity, and other technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, generative AI applications, AI agents, ML workloads, AI gateways, or model-routing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, MCP servers, RAG architectures, vector databases, or agent orchestration.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, internal developer platforms, or reusable deployment patterns.
