AI Platform Engineer

Location: Remote in the U.S. or San Francisco office

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 annually plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade AI agent infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
• Own the Azure or Oracle Cloud infrastructure variant while supporting GCP and AWS environments.
• Deploy and operate applications with Kubernetes and Terraform, enabling consistent infrastructure across customer environments.
• Improve observability, security, reliability, and compliance for enterprise deployments.
• Design and own CI/CD pipelines, GitOps deployments, release automation, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Build reusable automation and self-service tooling for provisioning, secret rotation, compliance checks, runbooks, dependency updates, and release management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Oracle Cloud, GCP, or AWS.
• Experience designing and owning CI/CD systems, pipeline architecture, GitOps-driven deployments, release automation, and pipeline-as-code practices.
• Strong networking fundamentals and proven experience deploying and operating production systems.
• Experience building DevOps automation frameworks using Bash, Python, workflow orchestration, and self-service tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with FluxCD, ArgoCD, or other GitOps controllers.
• Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps, including security gates, SBOM generation, and compliance checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Software development and SDLC experience with a builder mindset.
• Experience in startup or big-tech environments.
