Sr. DevOps Engineer II (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts; office attendance is required three days per week. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Annual base salary: $119,000–$221,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Design and operate reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure for the core SaaS platform and agentic AI services.
• Build AI/ML infrastructure and monitoring for LLM-powered agentic services.
• Establish Terraform infrastructure-as-code standards, environment parity, drift detection, and automated compliance validation.
• Implement observability, SLOs, error budgets, data-integrity monitoring, deployment verification, regression detection, and automated rollback procedures.
• Support data pipelines, Redshift warehousing, analytics tooling, AI training workflows, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Lead architecture reviews and cross-team infrastructure decisions while improving developer experience and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience, including experience operating infrastructure at a SaaS company.
• 2+ years building or operating AI/ML infrastructure, including model serving, inference, LLM orchestration, or agentic systems.
• Deep experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, DynamoDB, or Redshift.
• Strong Terraform skills covering state, modules, and multi-environment configurations.
• Experience with container orchestration, monitoring and observability platforms, data infrastructure, pipelines, warehousing, ETL/ELT, and at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with EKS, Datadog, CloudWatch, Redshift, Airflow, dbt, or Dagster.
• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
