Senior SecDevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first within the United States, with preference for candidates in Boston, Seattle, Los Angeles, or other cities with hirify.global offices. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees due to export control requirements.

Salary: $165,000–$200,000 base per year, plus potential annual incentive compensation and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and third-party providers using Terraform.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments across multiple services and environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing for platform health and rapid incident response.
• Establish security practices covering secrets management, network policies, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
• Support AI/ML infrastructure, including model serving and data pipelines for real-time AI agents.
• Build developer experience tooling such as local environments, preview deployments, and self-service infrastructure provisioning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SecDevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Expertise with at least one major cloud provider, with GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also accepted.
• Strong Terraform and Docker experience, plus a proven record designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, DNS, load balancing, and CDN configuration.
• Eligibility to work in the United States under the stated export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Production experience with AI/ML workloads, model serving, GPU scheduling, or streaming inference.
• Database operations experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar systems.
• Experience with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, SSO, FinOps, multi-tenant B2B SaaS, SOC 2, FedRAMP, or ITAR.
