Location: Must be based in the USA. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 50% of time spent in the office or in the field per quarter.

Salary: $148,200 – $264,000 USD

What you will do

• Partner with engineering leads at acquired companies to inventory services and design migration plans to the CP2 platform.
• Rewrite Terraform/Terragrunt modules and refactor infrastructure to align with standardized paved-road components.
• Port CI/CD pipelines and re-instrument observability stacks to meet hirify.global production standards.
• Identify gaps in the platform and provide technical feature requests to IPE platform teams.
• Establish repeatable migration playbooks to accelerate future acquisition onboarding.
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards to drive consensus on technical migration strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience with at least 3 years operating production workloads on AWS or GCP.
• Strong, current Kubernetes experience including debugging, Helm charts, and resource management.
• Production proficiency in Terraform and experience refactoring IaC across complex environments.
• Strong coding skills in Go or Python for automation and migration tooling.
• Solid CI/CD experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud experience with both GCP and AWS.
• Familiarity with secrets management, IAM least-privilege design, and security hygiene.
• Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks.
