Sr. Platform Engineer (JFrog)

Location: Remote within the United States

Annual base salary: $110,000–$180,000, with potential discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Build scalable, efficient, and cost-effective AWS environments using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Design enterprise AWS solutions with a security-first focus on resilience, availability, performance, and compliance.
• Develop advanced CI/CD and GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps for stateless, stateful, and serverless applications.
• Automate patching, upgrades, infrastructure maintenance, and operational processes.
• Implement service mesh and sidecar architectures, including scalability and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with customers, architects, developers, and security teams to align infrastructure with business and regulatory needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 6 years of industry or relevant experience, including senior-level experience.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar tools; 8+ years preferred.
• At least 6 years building CI/CD pipelines with GitOps and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd, and autoscaling solutions such as Karpenter.
• Strong Python, Shell, or equivalent scripting and programming skills, plus expertise with AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, and IAM.
