Associate Industrial Engineer (Lean Six Sigma)

Salary: $62,300–$72,500 per year

What you will do

• Develop labor standards, publish area efficiency levels, and improve operational effectiveness in the distribution center.
• Lead facility optimization and continuous improvement projects focused on customer SLAs, labor costs, CPU, safety, quality, and utilization.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods, facilitate rapid improvement events, and lead Lean training sessions.
• Analyze complex warehouse processes, develop measurement plans, and ensure improvements are repeatable and sustained.
• Prepare presentations for senior management using data from multiple initiatives to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders while supporting sustainability and employee development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience developing and implementing labor standards, labor management systems, and productivity reporting.
• 1–3 years of experience optimizing fulfillment and distribution warehouse operations.
• BasicMOST certification; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
• Experience with warehouse automation such as AutoStore, Exotec, or Caja; extensive AutoCAD knowledge; and SQL queries for extracting data from WMS.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance fundamentals and ability to work in a physical distribution-center environment, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
