Location: Full-time on-site position in Irvine, California, United States; up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.
Salary: $90,000β$115,000 per year, plus benefits and eligibility for a bonus of up to 10% annually.

What you will do
- Develop, implement, optimize, and support manufacturing processes, methods, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Support new product introduction, manufacturing transfer, production scale-up, and production readiness assessments.
- Plan and execute process and equipment qualification and validation activities, including protocols, reports, test methods, and manufacturing documentation.
- Investigate manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Apply statistical process control and process capability methods to reduce variation and improve yield, cycle time, scrap, labor efficiency, and equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Mechanical Design, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and engineering teams on technical issues and process improvements.
Requirements
- 3β5 years of relevant process, manufacturing, or related engineering experience, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with manufacturing process development, process improvement, validation, and/or production support.
- Working knowledge of statistical process control, process capability, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methods.
- Ability to independently execute moderately complex engineering assignments and manage projects with general direction.
- Effective English communication skills are required for reading, writing, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience in medical device, life sciences, or another highly regulated manufacturing industry.
- Experience with electromechanical or optical products, process automation, equipment qualification, tooling, or fixtures.
- Knowledge of FDA Quality System requirements, ISO 13485, Lean/Six Sigma, DOE, or DFM/DFA methodologies.
- An advanced engineering degree.
