RN Clinical Nurse Ambulatory - Connect Care Hub (Cardiology)

Location: Connect Care Hub, Lowell General Hospital, 1 Hospital Drive, Saints Campus, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. Four 9-hour shifts are scheduled Monday–Friday, with 36 or 40 hours per week.

Pay range: $34.79–$43.49 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide professional and supportive nursing care to ambulatory patients and families.
• Assess patients, identify expected outcomes, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in accordance with clinical standards and hospital policies.
• Provide patient and family education, coordinate referrals, and develop comprehensive discharge plans.
• Document care, treatment responses, care-plan changes, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, patients, and families while contributing to safety and quality-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, patient safety, pharmacology, treatment modalities, and evidence-based care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and meet physical requirements including prolonged standing and walking, patient movement, and occasional lifting of 30–35 pounds.

Nice to have

• RN cardiology experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Department-relevant professional certifications.
