Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry - Full Time - Days

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; onsite at 8 Prospect St. Full-time day shift, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to adolescent and adult medical-surgical patients.
• Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and establish nursing goals.
• Care for patients with cardiac conditions, invasive cardiac procedures, telemetry needs, stroke, pulmonary embolism, diabetic, endocrine, neurological, and renal disorders.
• Apply patient values, evidence-based practice, and best practices to care delivery.
• Engage patients and families in care planning and delivery.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and work within the nursing scope of practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of New Hampshire required.
• At least two years of recent experience in a cardiac telemetry unit.
• Complete Basic Life Support competency within 30 days.
• Complete intravenous therapy, central line management, rhythm interpretation, telemetry monitoring, and critical care medication competencies according to the stated orientation schedule.
• Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support competency within 18 months.
