Water Treatment System Operator

Location: Client site in Corona, California, United States; onsite work with day/night shift rotation

Salary: $25 per hour; approximately 60 hours per week, with occasional additional hours

What you will do

• Coordinate the operation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment equipment, well-field systems, and support equipment.
• Operate motors, pumps, valves, and control systems for vapor and water treatment.
• Collect water samples and coordinate laboratory analysis.
• Perform periodic maintenance and manage subcontractors providing specialized equipment services.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical process equipment and provide initial diagnoses.
• Maintain operations logs, inventory, consumables, vendor contracts, schedules, and communication with project team members.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of low-pressure steam boilers, water treatment equipment, and control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills involving mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with effective time management.
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
• Availability for occasional off-hour remote monitoring, weekend call-ins, and day/night shift rotation.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• OSHA 40-Hour Hazwoper certification.
