Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern (Water/Wastewater)

Location: Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, United States

Compensation: $25–$30 per hour

What you will do

• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures under the supervision of a professional engineer or Project Manager.
• Review water and wastewater treatment plant plans and specifications for active projects.
• Create and review process diagrams to understand and verify treatment plant systems.
• Use Excel to produce or verify design calculations.
• Write and review technical memorandums and reports.
• Participate in treatment plant tours, mentoring, and young professionals programs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.
• Knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.

Nice to have

• Two years completed toward an engineering degree and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Understanding of water and wastewater treatment practices and systems.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu.
• Local candidacy in the Saint Louis Park area.
