Senior AI Native Software Engineer

Location: Burnaby, BC, Canada; hybrid work with onsite attendance Tuesday through Thursday each week

Salary: CAD 152,000–190,000 starting base salary, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Build complete applications, workflow automations, and basic agents using AI coding agents.
• Translate customer needs into specifications and deliver solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Instrument applications to measure usage and outcomes, then iterate based on the results.
• Evaluate AI-generated output against security, privacy, reliability, and quality standards.
• Participate in customer conversations to identify urgent problems and automation opportunities.
• Document effective prompts, approaches, and reusable patterns for the team.

Requirements

• Proficiency with AI coding agents for end-to-end application development.
• Ability to write effective prompts and iterate toward the desired outcomes.
• Understanding of full-stack applications across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, databases, queues, and common architectural patterns.
• Awareness of design principles, UI/UX patterns, product development concepts, and basic analytics.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.
