Intermediate Email Marketing Specialist (Marketing Cloud)

Location: Hybrid office environment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Denver or Cedar Rapids, United States

Salary: $64,000–$74,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and deploy targeted email campaigns, automations, and customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Create and manage assets across Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder.
• Use AMPscript, SQL, data extensions, segmentation, and dynamic content for personalized campaigns.
• Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including setup, QA, scheduling, and post-send monitoring.
• Analyze campaign results, share actionable insights, and improve customer engagement and campaign performance.
• Document processes and platform best practices while contributing to cross-team workflow improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on email marketing experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Working knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, audience segmentation, and dynamic content.
• Experience managing data extensions, subscriber data, and relational data models.
• Understanding of email deliverability and compliance requirements, including CAN-SPAM.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, written communication, and collaboration skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration support.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, including retirement, life insurance, or investments.
• Familiarity with Litmus, Tableau, Seismic, or Outlook templates.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working.
• Experience with Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Marketo.
