Senior Planner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a small team of Planners through daily direction, coaching, workload management, and performance support.
• Develop production loading forecasts and schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and resource requirements.
• Manage sales orders, delivery performance, outbound logistics, and on-time-in-full shipment commitments.
• Plan inventory and material availability, including forecasting, safety stock, min/max levels, backorders, lead times, and capacity constraints.
• Maintain planning and material master data in ERP/MRP systems and implement Engineering Change Orders and New Product Introductions.
• Support project and cross-functional teams with production plans, risk management, schedule adherence, root cause analysis, lean initiatives, and planning process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in production planning within a manufacturing and engineering environment.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a planning team.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling.
• Experience with inventory management, safety stock, min/max planning, inventory optimization, and production and capacity forecasting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.
